How to cut your children’s birthday party costs by half!!
Everyone wants to treat their children to a special party on their birthdays, but sometimes the costs can get out of control. There’s a venue to pay for, a cake, bouncy castles, entertainers, party bags, disco and so on. Ok you might not go for all of the mentioned, but in our experience many families do.
So what’s the average cost?
It’s a precious time when your children are young, you want to make their day as memorable as you possibly can right? We estimate most mums and dads will spend in excess of £250.....sounds a lot? Well actually many will exceed that amount, although you can still have a great time on less.
So how can you cut the cost of a children’s party without compromising?
Well you could go for a small older style hall (many of these are very good), then you could hire a cheap bouncy castle. If you do, remember to ask for their insurance certificate, and make sure it’s a legal business.....if something goes wrong, it’ your kids at risk! You might also make your own party bags etc. You might hold the party at your home....very stressful though!
Here’s what we recommend to safely halve your cost without compromise.
....and it’s easier than you think! Find a friend or relative who has children with the same birthday (or there about) ...then book the whole thing sharing the costs. We have had one of our clients do this successfully twice recently and it works!
It allows you more affordability, for example they hired our bouncy castle and disco for just £50 each! They also hired a Disney princess to make an appearance...don’t know what it cost but it would have been half price. The hall hire worked out at £20 each....huge place too. And of course you also share the workload (half the stress!)
It’s the best and most simple way to make your precious little ones day extra special but totally affordable.
So our advice – next time you book a party make it twice as good for half the money simply by sharing!
